Accessibility at Mount Lemmon Lodge
At Mount Lemmon Lodge, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for all our guests and customers. We understand that accessibility needs vary, and we have taken meaningful steps to accommodate individuals with mobility or physical challenges wherever possible within the natural mountain environment of Summerhaven.
Accessible Parking & Entry
We offer designated handicap-accessible parking spaces for guests in our covered garage conveniently located near the elevator. From there, guests can access all floors of the lodge via elevator including guest rooms, reception, and shared common spaces. If underground parking spaces for lodge guests are full, we encourage lodge guests to drop their luggage in the covered parking, then find designated parking in our parking lot across the street.
We offer designated Beyond Bread Café parking spaces across the street from the lodge. We encourage café customers to use our drop zone on the apron entranceway to the covered garage as needed, then park in Café parking.
An exterior ramp is also available from the main street entrance, allowing guests to access the lodge without stairs. However, please note that due to the mountainous terrain and architectural limitations, the final portion of this path includes a short flight of stairs where the ramp ends.
ADA-Compliant Accommodations
We offer a fully ADA-compliant guest room designed with wider doorways, accessible bathroom fixtures, a roll-in shower, grab bars, and lowered amenities to ensure comfort and ease of use. If you require this room, we recommend booking in advance, as availability is limited.
Property Layout &
Assistance
While many of our interior spaces are accessible, including the lobby, gift shop, and Beyond Bread café, some outdoor areas, like the Forest Garden, may have uneven surfaces or gravel pathways due to the natural topography.
Our staff is always happy to assist with luggage, provide additional accessibility aids upon request, or answer any questions you may have about navigating the lodge and surrounding areas.
